Caring for your new full grain leather both important and easy. Find out how.

What kind of leather do you use?
We use 100% full-grain cowhide.
Full-grain leather is strong, natural, and made to age well over time. Each hide has its own markings and character, so no two Bibles will look exactly the same.
That’s part of what makes it yours.
Can I send in my own leather to be used on a Bible?
No. We only use our own full-grain cowhide leather for new Bibles and Bible Restorations.
That lets us stand behind the quality, feel, and durability of the finished Bible.
Where are your Bibles made?
Our Bible textblocks are printed in China, then rebound by hand in our leather shop in Columbia, Tennessee.
Each one is covered in full-grain cowhide and finished by our team here at Narrow Gate Leather.
What translations are available?
Available translations vary by product.
If you are ordering a Bible and Journal Bundle and don’t see a place to select your translation, email us with your name, order number, and the translation you’d like. We’ll add that request to your order manually.
Do your Bibles come with a warranty?
Yes. Our handbound Bibles come with a 5-year material and workmanship warranty.
We stand behind the work because these Bibles are made to be used, carried, opened, marked up, and lived with.
Personalization
Can I add a custom logo or personalization to my Bible, Bible Wrap, or Journal?
We offer personalization on the lower right corner of the front cover. For an extra charge of $10
Personalization can include letters, numbers, punctuation, and spaces.
Character limits:
Bibles and Journals: up to 25 characters
Bible Wraps: up to 15 characters
We do not offer custom logos on individual Bibles, Bible Wraps, or Journals.
For journals, we do offer custom logos on orders of 25 or more. You can learn more on our Customer Branded Journals page.
Can my personalization be made in gold/colored lettering?
No, we engrave using a laser, and therefore personalizations will always be black.
I made a mistake on my personalization. Can it be corrected?
Mistakes happen.
If your item has not gone into production yet, we’re happy to update the personalization for you.
Once personalization has been completed, even if the order has not shipped yet, we are not able to remake, exchange, or refund the item.
Please double-check all spelling, spacing, and punctuation before placing your order.
Can I order my Bible without the Narrow Gate logo?
Yes. After placing your order, email us with your name, order number, and a note requesting no logo.
Because we’ll need to make your Bible from scratch, this may add about 4–7 days to the normal fulfillment time.
Ordering & Care
Can I return my Bible?
Unused, non-personalized items may be returned within 30 days of purchase.
Your item must be in brand-new condition. Personalized Bibles cannot be returned unless there is a workmanship issue.

What if I never received an order confirmation?
First, check your spam or promotions folder.
If you still don’t see it, reach out to us with the name used on the order. Most of the time, this happens when an email address was missing or entered incorrectly at checkout.
